pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 (hereinafter the “Privacy Code”) and Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter the “GDPR”), we hereby inform you that the company:

will process the personal data provided by you or otherwise acquired in the course of its contractual activities, in compliance with applicable laws and according to the methods and purposes set out below.
The Data Controller processes personal and identifying data such as, by way of example and not limited to: first name, last name, address, telephone number, email address, identity document and driving licence details, payment and bank details (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”).
Personal Data are processed:
pursuant to Article 24 letters a), b), c) of the Privacy Code and Article 6 letters b) and c) of the GDPR, for the following purposes:
Conclusion, management and execution of vehicle rental contracts.
Fulfilment of pre-contractual, contractual, administrative, accounting and tax obligations.
Compliance with obligations arising from laws, regulations, EU legislation or orders issued by competent authorities (including anti-money laundering obligations).
Exercise and defence of the Data Controller’s rights, including legal proceedings.
pursuant to Articles 23 and 130 of the Privacy Code and Article 7 of the GDPR, for marketing purposes, including:
Sending commercial, promotional and informational communications via email, SMS, telephone or postal mail.
Sending newsletters and customer satisfaction surveys.
Sending promotional communications from commercial partners (e.g. insurance companies).
Personal Data are processed using paper-based, electronic and telematic tools, in compliance with the security measures required by applicable legislation.
Data will be retained as follows:
For contractual and legal purposes: up to 10 years from the termination of the contractual relationship.
For marketing purposes: up to 2 years from the date consent is given, unless withdrawn earlier.
The provision of Personal Data is:
a) Mandatory to comply with legal obligations.
b) Necessary for the proper establishment and execution of the contractual relationship.
Failure to provide such data may result in the impossibility to provide the requested services.
Personal Data may be communicated, within the limits of the purposes indicated above, to:
Banking institutions and payment service providers.
Legal, tax and consultancy firms.
Insurance companies.
Public authorities, where required by law.
IT and management service providers.
Personal Data will not be disclosed.
Personal Data are stored on servers located within the European Union.
Any transfer of data to countries outside the EU will take place in compliance with the GDPR, through the adoption of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Pursuant to Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, you have the right to:
Access your Personal Data.
Request rectification or updating of data.
Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
Restrict or object to processing.
Request data portability.
Withdraw consent at any time.
Lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).
